Lambing Events in Somerset 2026
A sure sign that spring is on the way is seeing lambs and other baby animals. There is nothing cuter than petting or bottle feeding a lamb and there are plenty of opportunities in Somerset this spring.

Live Lambing Event at Avon Valley Wildlife Park
Where: Pixash Lane, Bath Road, Keynsham, Somerset, BS31 1TP
When: Saturday 14th February to Sunday 22nd February 2026. From 10.30 am to 4.30 pm.
If you’re looking for something fun to do with the kids in February Half Term Holidays, a day out on the farm is a baaaa-rilliant idea!
Immerse yourself in the Live Lambing Event. Join the shepherds for educational talks and bottle feeding demonstrations with their pet lambs in the Maternity-EWEnit, meet the pregnant ewes and you may even see a live birth.
Plus, enjoy the usual activities – indoor play barn, outdoor play area, mini golf, silent disco, pedal go-carts, mini railway and chair-o-planes.

Lambs at Puxton Park
Where: Cowslip Lane, Hewish, Weston-super-Mare, North Somerset, BS24 6AH
Meet cuddly lambs during February Half Term.
When: From Saturday 14th February to Sunday 22nd February 2026.
Come along to the Animal Discovery Barn for some animal encounters, including cosy lamb cuddling sessions. This experience is included in your entry fee and FREE for members.
Cafe, restaurant and farm shop on site for food and drink.

Court Farm Country Park
Where: Wolvershill Road, Banwell, Weston super Mare, BS29 6DL
When: During the winter months (Nov – March) open between 10:00 am to 4:30 pm;
Closed Mondays; (Open daily during February half term)
Visitors will be able to see the lambs and other baby animals and enjoy the great range of play facilities, including indoor and outdoor play areas. Watch the cow milking demonstration and lamb feeding in the barn.
It’s a working farm and one of the best lambing experiences in Somerset. You’re likely to see a live birth if you want to.

Somerset Sheep Trekking
Where: Lower Woodram Farm, Pitminster, Taunton, Somerset
Lambing Experiences – Visits by appointment only.
When: Throughout March 2026
Price: £28.30/person, £94.32/four people
Book a lambing experience at this 180 acre sheep farm, which are small and personalised. You’ll be able to cuddle any orphan lambs, hopefully see a live birth, see the new born lambs, walk around the fields to see older lambs and ewe’s, and helping with the day to day tasks of lambing time.
With over 100 lambs due in spring 2026, there will be plenty to see, learn, and enjoy during your visit.

Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm
Where: Clevedon Road, Wraxall, North Somerset, BS48 1PG
There is a farm area of the zoo where many lambs have already been delivered and expecting many more over the coming weeks. Please note, you cannot pet or feed the lambs. But there are small animal meet and greets at 2.30pm in the Animal Village, including rabbits and guinea pigs.

Lambing Events in Gloucestershire
Here are some lambing events in Gloucestershire, within an easy drive of North Somerset and Bristol.
Cattle Country Farm Park
Where: Berkeley Heath Farm, Berkeley, Gloucestershire, GL13 9EW
Lamb Feeding
When: From Saturday 7th March 2026 until mid April.
Come along for the Lambing Event to meet the newest woolly arrivals and if you’re lucky, witness a birth.

𝘼𝙉𝘿 limited tickets to their Lamb Bottle Feeding sessions (book online, on a first come first served basis)
Price: Lamb Bottle Feeding (additional £3.10/child) must book online and in advance.
Bottle Feeding takes place twice daily at 11am and 3pm, lasting roughly 15-30 minutes and ideal for children aged 4+.

Live Lambing at Cotswold Farm Park
Where: Guiting Power, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, GL54 5FL
LAMBING & KIDDING
When: Friday 13th February – Sunday 29h April 2026, 9.30 am to 5.00 pm.
Experience the wonder of new life on the farm, as the Lambing and Kidding event returns for 2026! Meet the lambs and kids, hear daily talks, see live births up close and join in the activities for all ages.
- Daily Lambing Talks at 11.00, and 14.30.

Old Down Country Park
Where: Foxholes Lane, Tockington, Bristol BS32 4PG
The first lambs were welcomed in January. Keep an eye on their social accounts for updates this winter/spring.
During February Half Term admission is only £5 for adults and children.
