The Bishop’s Table café will be serving a seasonal menu with views over the croquet lawn.

You’ll find a wide range of beautiful gifts and presents for yourself and your loved ones from over 70 artisan stalls at the Palace’s popular annual Christmas Artisan Market.

There’ll also be music in the Chapel on both days provided by local choirs and instrumental groups to add to your enjoyment and your day ticket also allows access to the beautiful Palace gardens.

The Bishop’s Table Cafe serves delicious, locally sourced food so why not book a table for this event.

Good to know: Tickets include access to the Palace and Gardens, so allow time to explore. Dogs on leads are welcome in the gardens, but not in the Palace buildings.

Taunton Christmas Markets 2025

Taunton and nearby villages bring a mix of town bustle and countryside charm. Expect lively markets, family-friendly entertainment, and festive cheer around every corner.

Celebrate the festive season in Taunton as the Town Centre transforms into a winter wonderland. Enjoy a bustling Christmas market set in the heart of Taunton, with festively decorated stalls selling a wide selection of handcrafted gifts and artisan produce.

There’s live music and performances throughout the day on the WinterFest main stage and performance areas situated outside the North Street Church and in the High Street. 

This festive celebration will also feature funfair rides and family-friendly entertainment.

Exhibitors include silver jewellery, handmade resin art, homemade candles, bags, Christmas decorations and cards, homemade glass décor, beaded jewellery, personalised cushions, crochet bags, homemade chilli jams, chutneys, pickles and hot sauces, Christmas cakes, cupcakes, homemade fudge and personalised crafts and trinkets.

Porlock Late Night Christmas Shopping

A well-loved tradition, Porlock will sparkle into life with Christmas lights, carol singing, shops open late, food and drink, street entertainmnt, and the ever-popular Santa Dash. It’s a wonderful evening to enjoy the village at its festive best and encourage people to shop local this Christmas.
